We recently spoke to a developer in Indiana. He had bought a 89 hectares plot for development as a subdivision. Indiana State regulations prohibit use of septic tanks on lots smaller than 3035m² - but his business was dividing the site into individual building plots, installing services and selling on to custom home builders. After considering common areas, roads, pathways, woodland and lakes, using septic he could place just 90 homes on this site. Using our ATUs the yield increased to 160. This true life situation called for individual units for each homeowner.
